About
Unashamed Church is a Spirit Filled, Family Church located in San Marcos, TX. We are a Regional Church that believes in the Power and Presence of God.
In December 2024 God woke me up in the middle of the night and gave me a vision of sheep without a shepherd. He told me to Build Him a Church where He can dwell and build Him an altar where He can pour out on His people. At that moment Unashamed Church was born.
In June of 2025 my family and I moved to the Hill Country to pioneer the church that He mandated be built. On August 17, 2025 our first service took place.
Our vision is simply this... We exist to Trust God, Love People and Compel the Lost to Christ.
Meet the Team
Unashamed Church is Lead by Pastors James and Misty Collazo. Our Spiritual Father is Apostle Brian Hallam of New Heights Church in College Station, Texas
Founding Pastor
James A. Collazo
Founder and Senior Pastor of Unashamed Church in San Marcos, TX. Earning a Bachelors Degree in both Christian Ministry and Theology. Pastor James has been in full time ministry since 1995. Assisting in building the ministry of other influential men of God, pioneering churches as well as serving in several different ministerial capacities all over the nation.
In June of 2025 Pastor James along with his wife and two children Elisha and Israel moved to the Hill Country to build Unashamed Church.

Misty Collazo
The Co-Founder and a Senior Pastor of Unashamed Church in San Marcos, TX. Pastor Misty holds a Bachelors degree in Christian Ministry and Theology. Operating in a Prophetic Anointing and living a life of honor and sacrifice. Her ministry has been making an impact on women and families from coast to coast.

Brian Hallam
Apostle Brian Hallam and his wife of over 22 years, Pastor Crystal Hallam, along with their three children: Hailey, Walker Lee, and Trinity, founded New Heights Church in College Station, Texas in 2012. Apostle Hallam ministers in power all over the nation and internationally. His ministry is known for supernatural miracles, signs and wonders, and his significant anointing for increase. Apostle Hallam is committed to activating people in faith to believe God for the supernatural and to prepare the Body of Christ for the Lord's imminent return. Apostle Hallam lives out the vision God gave him for his church and ministry: “LOVE PEOPLE AND POINT THEM TO CHRIST.”
